Race to the Finish Line

Time was FLYING in our house!! Kenedy and Brynklie are busy with cheer, and all three girls were committed to dance!! Bostyn was sad that she wasn't apart of any club at School, so we let her join Girls on the Run! This was club that involved a whole bunch of girls training for a race. Bostyn was training for a 5k with her team. At the end of the two months she was ready to RUN!! 

                    Jake took one for the team and ran the full 5k with Bostyn, what a nice Dad!!

Ready set GO! They took off running Jake in front and Bostyn right behind!!

Kenedy Brynklie and I sat and watched them take off... and then we got cold! Keep in mind it was December so we headed to the car and waited until we thought they had finished the race. I think we got a little carried away with the warm air and fell asleep.... WE MISSED THEM!! We got out of the car two hours later and saw them looking for us. Bostyn was pretty upset we didn't see her finish, but she forgave us! She ended up finishing in second place for all 8 year old girls! Way to go Super Boss!

Jake said she did TERRIFIC, and did not complain once!! We got home from the long drive to Queen Creek and she passed out on the couch!! Hahaha this is what hard work will do to you.
